Who cares whether it is ADE or Sony Reader problem? I don't. It looks ugly on 505, so I use LRF.
I find ePub with embedded fonts is not slow. I don't know what you are doing, but on the 505, ePub with embedded fonts is not slow. LRF with embedded fonts can be slow on the 500/505.
