maybe commonplace for your collection. i now have read this year 30 books, and NONE of them had ever more than 5000-10000 locs. 100k+ loc sounds just crazy. are those webstorys or something? i have one that is REALLY long (The Legendary Mechanic), but even that is splitted up into multiple files.

my guess: Oasis 3 is maybe more powerfull than as an example a PW4. maybe more RAM or similiar - never really checked the exact specs of each kindle to know that. but it sounds reasonable and logical for me that this could be the factor.
