Could you please clarify which option to tick in the "modify epub" plugin? The issue is seemingly the same to mine: Ever since Amazon no longer accepts .mobi, emailing .epub files to my amazon account leads to problems regarding special characters (German Umlaut ä,ö,ü, etc.) not properly displaying on the Amazon Kindle Signature edition. After some googling, i found a post on Reddit
