Split it into separate ebooks using Calibre, or get better proofed PD from Gutenberg. The reviews suggest it's copy/pasted from Archive org. Gutenberg uses reasonable human proof readers.
The Kindle does various background things with ebooks. It's not a sane ebook.
Amazon only do certain kinds of automated checks. Report the book. It shouldn't be sold as a single omnibus.
