I've been needing to vent and rant about this for decades:
What wacko came up with the phrase "righty tighty, lefty loosey" as a mnemonic for turning screws?
Rotation is clockwise or counterclockwise. Either way, half the thing you're turning is going left and half is going right, so what is that phrase supposed to mean?!
And, worse, no one else ever seems to see this problem with the phrase.
Like young Indy said: "Everyone's lost but me!"
