I don't even remember what I did to unintentionally trigger the font size bubble.. Maybe accidentally touched the screen with two fingers. I'm glad I was able to turn the feature off since I didn't like it even if used intentionally.
I already have tap-to-turn turned off to reduce accidental triggering.
I do have the left side swipe-to-adjust-light feature turned on. But sometimes when I try to use it I end up highlighting text instead....
Now if I could only figure out what causes the Kobo to occasionally turn backwards instead of forwards, when I swipe to turn forward. Once it starts doing this it's likely to happen again repeatedly in the same book. But sometimes I can read a few books in a row without it happening.
