I get rid of excess kindles. A kindle keyboard went in the Best Buy recycle bin as it would no longer hold a charge. A kindle touch (no built in light) went to a nephew. That leaves me with a voyage my wife uses and my oasis. I do have a kindle fire 8, but I use it for some other duties aside from reading like watching downloaded Netflix shows/movies when traveling for work.
I hang on to mine a long time and don’t upgrade often. Since getting my first kindle keyboard I’ve had that, the touch, voyage, fire and Oasis.
