Issues with the eyes shouldn't be treated lightly. Hopefully, you're just losing the ability for your lense to accommodate to changes in distance. But it can be a symptom of other problems. There are the eye issues such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and a strange condition a friend of mine has in which a detached retina caused changes in his eyes, luckily this was treated. But eye problems can be a symptom of things like diabetes.

Please see an optician as a first point of call. They can see right to the back of your eye and know if you need further tests. Hopefully, it's just age-related long-sightedness.
