Hello, all. This is my first post here and I agree about the Kindle 1 page turning aspects. I bought my wife a Kindle 2 for Valentine's Day and then ended up liking it so much I decided to get a Kindle for myself. I didn't want to spring for the amount of a 2 so I bought a 1 instead.
I already knew about the page turning aspect so I bought a used one that had a m-edge case and light with it. It's much easier to hold with the case but I still have issues every so often with accidental page turns. It's getting better now that I'm more careful. When I first got it I would close the cover and discover, when I got back, that I was now two-thirds of the way through the book and had a heck of a time finding my way back.
I put up with it for the reduced cost but it would be nice if it were more like the 2.
