I can log on to Sony Store, but I can't access the Store

This happened suddenly. Perhaps related to this problem (?) is when I updated my Windows Live Messenger - but I'm not certain.

I live in Peru, but I have a U.S. Credit card. As far as Sony is concerned, I'm visiting Peru and I brought my computer along with me. I haven't had any problems in buying books on my current U.S. credit card. I maintain a U.S. address.

As recommended, I changed the settings on Explorer, etc. That didn't work. The following was then suggested - that I should uninstall the Ebook Library, and then do this:

Please delete the following folders:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kinoma
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Marlin
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\kinoma
C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Sony Corporation
C:\Program Files\Sony\eBook Library

Then I should reinstall the Library. Has anyone done this with success? Do I need to de-authorize my Reader first? Are there any particular problems? Did this SOLVE the problem for anyone?

I haven't changed internet providers, or anything like that. Any helpful suggestions?

Don
