I'm continuing - happily - with my Norman Prentiss 'reading apprenticeship' (; ):

Just now finished In the Best Stories . . . and other Uneasy Horror Tales, by this wonderful author.

One story, in particular, is one of the most incredible stories I've read in recent memory. Please direct your attention to In the Porches of Your Ears. This story had me in tears. And then, after thinking about it and living with the characters, I was in awe at how he told the story.

Pick this book up. It's only 99 cents. Or FREE with Kindle Unlimited. It's a very short read, but a wonderfully rewarding read. Prentiss provides a truly revealing Afterword that gives additional information on how these stories came about and what they mean to him.

One and 3/4 dismembered thumbs up.
