Sure! I see them around campus all the time.
Although being a university that's big in engineering and science our faculty and students run a bit rightwards of what's typical for universities in the US. That means the average here is well left of center instead of extremely left of center. (says the small-l libertarian who seems to be out-of-step wherever he goes.
