Ropes in the Attic by Edward J. Flora
A debut novel. It was both sloppy and it didn't make sense, especially the ending. The incident that happened at the start of the book is supposed to be a year before most of the book takes place. But later it's referred to as being two years ago and later it was even several years ago. I also felt that most of the book information was held back, that you didn't get the entire picture. It would have been better with that information; more history about the house and it's previous inhabitants.

I only finished it because it was a short book.
