As you're on a Kindle, you need Mobipocket format ebooks.

So - go to Ebooks/Mobipocket (MOBI)
Then there's a Search E-Books menu on the right hand side of the E-Book Uploads heading.

But since you know the authors you're interested in, you might be better off using the alphabetic index.

There's lots of Conan Doyle and Dumas.
