There is a new media server out there that runs on Docker called Komga (https://komga.org). It’s initially being touted as a comics and manga server, but since it supports epub, there are ebook libraries popping up for it. These libraries are called repositories. As with Calibre, you’d run the server on your home computer and access it via the web. I haven’t tried to access one of these libraries with my Kobo web browser yet, so I have no idea how compatible they would be, but since you were asking…
