Recent reading...

House of Hollow by Krystal Sutherland. A young adult contemporary fantasy. Some well drawn characters in an intriguing set up with some unexpected turns. I enjoyed this very much: 4/5.

Return to Reason: The Science of Thought from Scientific American. While many of the articles here reiterate things I've read in other places, I did think this was one of the better Scientific American collections I've read. 4/5.

The Good Knight by Sarah Woodbury. A historical mystery/adventure/romance story interwoven with real historical events. I enjoyed it. Probably 3.5/5.

1632 by Eric Flint. A sort of alternative history fantasy. It has been sitting on my reader for a long while, but with the recent death of Eric Flint I thought I would try it. There's a lot I could say, but will keep it simple: DNF, abandoned early, not for me.
