@klin4960 - in my experience calibre is not a disk performance dependent application, most of its functionality uses the library database which is loaded into memory when a library is opened. Providing you are using a 'modern' file system such as NTFS, Ext 4, HFS+, APFS etc, you probably won't notice any difference if you move your library to an HDD.
