No one has any ideas or suggestions? I've rebooted it with no change. Have no idea how to do a full factory reset.

Update - found that at least some of the books (not all) will open by a long press rather than just tapping them (I'm used to the Kobo which only requires a tap to open). The long press brings up a menu, including "Open with.... and the options are KOReader, epub2 and epub3.

If I choose KOReader, nothing happens but the books will open with either epub2 or 3 - what is the difference in those?
I must have installed KOReader back when I first got the inkpad but I don't see any evidence of it other than in this menu, which doesn't seem to work anyway.
