Yes it is still definitely K4PC 1.17.0. The reason I have installed calibre 3.40.1 is because I did not think that any new calibre installs were able to convert KFX files. Am I wrong? I have never seen anything to say that current versions of calibre can convert KFXs. If the latest calibre can, do I still need K4PC 1.17.0 and the De-DRM and KFX Input plug-ins?
How are you converting from KFX when K4PC 1.17 will not download a KFX file?

Converting KFX input files is pretty much a dead letter since Amazon keeps updating the DRM on KFX files making it pretty much impossible to remove. Given that you are using K4PC 1.17, you will likely get mostly KF8/azw3 with a few KF7/mobi files. If yu have a version of K4PC that would download KFX files, in the directory where you are downloading your Amazon ebooks, you would see subdirectories with your ebooks and voucher files. Though for whatever reason, ebooks will show up as .azw regardless of the actual format.

You will still need the DeDRM plugin correctly configured for your system to import most downloaded Amazon books.
