Boot Linux from a USB stick, or dual boot Windows & Linux. Note For Linux Mint, 19.3 is the last supported 32 bit version.

Only older Windows 10 has 32 bit version.

Last Calibre for 32 bit is 5.44.0

So if PC is 64 bit and can't run Win10, then use Linux Mint 20.1 64 bit, Mate Desktop will run in under 2G RAM, possibly even 1G RAM, especially if graphics has its own RAM and you use Xfce desktop.

I sold, installed and gave training in Windows for 10 years. Used it for 25 years.
