Anyway to Remove ToC search fcn? - FIXED

So when I open the table of contents in an epub and then go to a chapter, the viewer opens that chapter but the active window remains the ToC. My issue is that I use the keyboard to change pages and currently like using the arrow keys as shortcuts for page turns. The problem is that whenever I use the ToC to change chapters and then try and turn the page with an arrow key, the search bar in the table to contents is activated and shows the list of previous ToC searches instead of turning the page in the book. The only way for me to prevent this is to mouse click on the viewer window to make it active and then use my arrow keys to turn pages.

Is there anyway to remove the search bar in the ToC? Or alternatively, code the viewer so that whenever a ToC selection is made that the active window automatically switches back to the viewer window?

Thanks for any assistance.
