Your reading style may vary. I tend to frequently switch (not abandon) books when I tire of the story line.
I'm not the OP in this thread. I just wondered why she's downloading an AZW3 book that she already has in her Amazon account, converting it, and then emailing it back to herself. It's not important, just something I was curious about since I couldn't immediately see a reason for it.

For myself, the only books that I use on multiple devices are cookbooks. I tend to browse them on my laptop and add notes and bookmarks to recipes I want to make, but I usually use my iPad in the kitchen since it's easier to wipe off if anything splatters.
