Did you look where I suggested, in Settings->One Drive->Manage?

A Windows Update, in 2018 I think, enabled storing Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos on OneDrive without so much as by-your-leave sir/madam.

Synching Calibre libraries to a cloud services while calibre itself is running has caused the sort of issues you have experienced for many users. It's happened on DropBox, GoogleDrive, iCloud, Box, OneDrive and others. One of the responders to this thread, chaley, who is one of the calibre developers, experienced it first hand.

Glad you got your library back? Have you run Check library on it?
