For everybody with the same issue, these are the steps I did:
1. Factory reset (not sure if needed, possibly not)
2. Put Update_jailbreak_hotfix_1.16.N_install.bin on root. Eject + "Update Kindle". Wait for update to complete.
3. Put MRPI (extensions + ) on root
4. Put Update_KUALBooklet_e3deabf_install.bin in extensions
5. ;log mrpi - to install booklet.
6. Install other packages, in my case python. |
Same situation here. My already Jailbroken Kindle autoupdated to 5.14.3
I followed your steps except for 1,3 and 6. I did not have to factory reset mine.
Here's what I did:
1. Put the Update_jailbreak_hotfix_1.16.N_install.bin on root, eject then update kindle while on airplane mode.
2. Put Update_KUALBooklet_e3deabf_install.bin in mrpackages folder
3. Type ;log mrpi to install booklet.
