googled more too. We do have a variety of the small ones too, but, well, as you'd know, we don't "see" them much, especially when the rambunctious fruit bats are about. We had a massive colony down on the river (I'll have get a photo of the traffic sign near the bridge that warns you about them) that'd darken the skies of an evening if they chose to head our way to the National Park (mostly they went across the Noosa north shore). They've moved though, I'm not sure where, when TC Hamish passed by. Probably somewhere a bit more sheltered.
Anyway, I love bats too, the little ones as much as the big ones.
