As @DNSB said, that has nothing to do with the Kobo Utilities plugin. That is the KoboTouchExtended driver doing its work to transform an epub to kepub when the book is being sent to the device. It would be better to discuss this there. But, is this on a Mac? There were some issues with the Mac and the driver that I thought had been sorted out. But, it's possible it was in a beta that hasn't been released. And there are enough changes in calibre 6 to have changed what happens. Also, it is the fifth book no matter what books you select, or are you trying to send the same set of books?
