The plot thickens! I discovered I'd received a second email eight hours later about the promo and this time the link worked. I have a $2 reward good through July 18, 2022 7:00 AM GMT according to that page. (And I'm damn well taking a screenshot of it, just in case.)
So check your email, maybe you got lucky and got a second credit.
