I mostly agree. Though there are some books, like Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door that I would not want a kid to read. I haven't read that one yet despite (or because of) Jack Ketchum's skill as an author and how damn dark it is.

I admit, there aren't many of those books and the stuff I see people trying to block from school libraries are ridiculous.
