Otherwise, you can remove it to prove whether it is this plugin or something else causing the problem. Or run calibre in debug mode and see if there are any error shown in the log when you close calibre.
Oh that's right, it was the KoboTouchExtended driver that was causing that crash before. I can't keep straight which tool does what.

However, I got this crash on my first sync following the installation of the current KU yesterday, while still on Calibre 5. I thought that there might be a Calibre 6 requirement for KU, so I upgraded, and that didn't help.
