Changing Language

You can change the GUI language when a Kobo is set to "sideloaded mode", i.e. no home page and user account sort of hidden and WiFi Off.
You'd probably need WiFi to get any dictionaries unless you loaded them earlier.

BUT the Advanced Notebooks won't work without a sync on WiFi, which needs you to be logged in/not on sideloaded mode. Sometimes even then the download of handwriting recognition fails. Likely this applies to the Elipsa too, but I didn't check.

On FW 4.32.x

Why did I want Spanish instead of English anyway?
If I'm doing a lot of writing I want accents, because sometimes English (especially older style) uses them on loan words.
Also though I know almost no Irish I do use Irish place names, people's names and some Irish words. The fada (áéíóúÁÉÍÓÚ) isn't just pronunciation, it's part of spelling so some words are different meaning. Like bán is white and bean or bainean could mean female, but that can be ban if it's a prefix.

I'm not writing shopping lists and I don't want to be having to recheck which version of Maeve I meant (Méabh Óg is the younger one of two girls with same name. It's got many spellings.).
