I've seen somewhat similar behaviour when I switch from using my laptop's internal display set to 125% and an external monitor set to 100% to just using the internal display. It happens with other programs so I tend to look at it as a video driver/Windows glitch and not something that calibre does.

Doing this is also a good way of getting familiar with how to move an application window back onto the screen using the arrow keys.
