I need to know if I should keep an older version of Calibre for old exports.

Also, can I still run older versions of Calibre and Calibre 6 on the compuer or willl they be mutually exclusive? If so, do I need to start over with settings completely or can some files/folders in the current appdata folders translate?

I currently have two versions running *reasons* and I don't want to do any major changes yet until I see if I like Calibre 6 or the bugs (if any) get worked out.

New computer coming, moving everything over.

Calibre portable would be my idea but I normally would copy the appdata folders over to get the same look, but it seems like this won't work.

Some suggestions? I am wary of installing a newer version that won't be backwords compatible with what I have.

Ok, so I see that only one instance of Calibre will run. I like the option of two versions using the 32 and 64 but I understand. I am going to have to try it out on the porable.
