You dont need Qt 6, calibre comes with its own copy. All you need is a recent enough glibc and the installer will refuse to install if it detects you dont have one.

Do you have the DeDRM plugin installed and is it working? I have seen references to problems with it in this thread. In addition to this one I have the DeACSM and Hyphenate-this plugins installed and would need them all working before I could move from 5.44 here.
