Sideloading is annoying. However, I*just tried and what is annoying is that "skip to next article" is lost. Other than that, the TOC is displayed slightly differently, but that is not a big deal (I*do not undrestand what is so great about it that in Kovid's eyes it replaces the navbar - nor do I*understand what is so great about the navbar for it to need any replacing at all).
My use case for fetching news is mostly when I am travelling without my computer, so sideloading is not an option anyway.
