I gave up on Prime Video's Discovery+ offer after four phone calls couldn't resolve the issue or tell me why I should be having an issue. Since the only show I wanted was the one documentary, I canceled the Amazon order and got a free trial directly from Discovery+, where the program plays just fine.
Just out of curiosity, I would love to know if anyone else has the same problem. Amazon continued to tell me that they haven't gotten other calls about it, which I find baffling.
