So I use the provided "unsubscribe" links to get off the email lists...and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to unsubscribe. The forms seems to be specifically designed and worded to confuse and lead to the wrong choice, manipulating consent from people trying to opt out.

Look at the attachments and tell me what I'm supposed to select to unsubscribe from everything.
I feel your pain.

I've been on an unsubscribe binge lately. With every newsletter email I ask myself if I read the newsletters at all, if they offer anything useful (e.g. discount codes) and how often I get them (some companies send out newsletter almost daily).

Most companies hide their unsubscribe button after the "click here for the full message" notification. Most put the link in a teeny tiny font. And some make it unclear whether you are unsubscribing or actually resubscribing (as I suspect are your examples).

I think I have two or three I now have unsubscribes multiple times from and keep sending emails. I'm going to keep a list and see if that is true. If it is I'm going to email them to ask them to not only get me off their mailing list but also delete my entire account since I don't want to business with a company like that. Yes, I know I can have those emails go to the spam folder, but they'll keep doing it if they don't get complaints/know they lose customers.
