When I install Calibre 5.44 it replaces the app in the applications folder but I then have both versions as options when right clicking an epub file. I have been trying to uninstall the previous version for a while now with no luck.

Any help on what to try next would be appreciated. Thank you!
You cannot install Calibre 3.48. It will not work. Calibre 5 changed the database format and once you run version 5, you cannot run 3.48. It won't work. Forget 3.48 and stick with 5.44.
