Most tablets are reading devices. Did you mean 'connect'?

Sorry for the garbled message. Calibre is running on Win 10 64 Pro. My tablet is set to file transfer mode every time, like you I do this manually each time. I can copy files from PC to tablet just fine, but get exactly the same "error communicating with the device" message from Calibre as that posted by others here
