Ideally, you wouldn't be nicking beverages that I have purchased and placed in the community work fridge at all. But since that particular behavior is clearly not going to change, I would settle for you actually drinking the whole thing whenever you do do it. Rather than leaving it on the counter with a single sip taken from it and the cap put back on.
