Even with that checked, eventually, Amazon is going to force an update on you So keep the 1.17 installer and find the BAT file in the KindleforPC/MAC thread. Then when you are forcibly updated, you can install 1.17 on top of whatever version it was updated to and then run the BAT file and you are good to go.
