What are ld2-files? Is it Vicon's proprietary format or is a public one?

The Wordnet dictionary has been converted to stardict for ages.

It seems that some work has been done to extract the info from lingoes to text-file. However, this thread from Goldendict emphasizes that the problem is the encryption.

So you could try pyglossary and see whether you get lucky
