But, but, this is always the way! Whether ITC, BBC, etc. when one of those companies makes a show, bygod, all the players are Brits. LOL. I mean, ostensibly and clearly and unmissably British. :-)

I watched the 3rd and last episode tonight and thought it was the best of the three. While I watched the other two I was doing things online and wasn't paying close attention. I just wanted to get back to watching Britbox. i have subscriptions to services I haven't been watching for a long time, including Acorn. I've been watching more HBO Max and a little Netflix. I watch a lot of youtube for livestreams. I should stop my Acorn sub. I can always resubscribe when I want to see something on it.
The mysteries don't track worth a damn on the Provence show, but I pathetically have to confess I mostly liked it. Of course, it could just be that my "Cozy Mysteries Low Light" is flashing frantically. It's harder and harder to find watchable cozies. I'm at the point where I'm rewatching (yes, yes, I can hear the groans already) Midsomer Murders for the 3rd time, starting back with good old Episode 1. (There's a book series wildly popularized by the TV show, rather than the other way 'round. I hate to say it, but the show is hugely better than the books. There, I said it.)

Vis: Acorn: Murdoch. Pretty much, Murdoch and a few others. That show that is filmed in Kerala, India--the...damn, the hospital/soapy one?. And a few others. Given how cheap Acorn is, it's nearly worth it. And it's not like there's a surfeit of 'softer' watching around. I mean, on Netflix, everything is either hopelessly bizarre, hopelessly teenaged, or just...so graphically disgusting that it's unwatchable and I don't believe I have a really easily-offended stomach.

I'm still livid with Britbox for cutting me off on the Mrs. Bradley Mysteries. Granted, there were only, what, 3 of them? (Such a shame, Dame Diana Rigg was fantastic in it and Neil Dudgeon was perfect....)

I started to watch it again, and they abruptly moved the entire kit-and-kaboodle to Amazon, as a preview for BB and not for their own paid viewers. I'm still carrying a grudge about that.
