That's nothing. I got a cataract removed in 2020; sometimes the lens pouch gets clouded, due to an artificial lens being in there. That can be solved by a laser treatment of about 10 minutes.
I had the laser treatment at the beginning of Octoboer 2021. Yesterday I got the €250 bill. That is 9 months later. However: Yesterday I also bought an iPad to become my primary e-reader (because the battery of my 6 years old Aura ONE is dying).
If you don't have a lot of money, you could have been saving up for that iPad, buys it, and then suddenly gets a €250 bill that is completely unexpected. People can get in trouble that way.
For me, fortunately, it's not a problem, but it still annoys me to receive a bill for something that was done 9 months ago.
