Whether cord or port, I've definitely had devices that got a bit finicky about charging. Things had to be just so. And while I'm not one who spends a lot of time precisely inserting/removing the charging cord on all of my devices, neither am I rip-ram about it.

I like wireless charging that works (without a lot of fidgety placement issues to get things going). The inefficiencies don't trouble me. It's not like it actually contributes any meaningful waste to the rest of the inefficient technologies in play at home/work.
