Thanks for the clarification on the bogus error when running polish.

Today I tried uploading some books to my Kobo, and that seemed to work fine.

And the debug log shows nothing untoward during loading. All plugins initialized successfully.

So in conclusion, except for that first restart following the update to 5.44, situation normal. Thanks.
