That error is fairly meaningless when doing a conversion. Some plugins do not load correctly in the conversion process, but, as they are not used, that doesn't matter.

Run calibre in debug mode and post the debug log. That should show the error when the driver is initially loaded. Hopefully we can see what is happening there.

Or, delete the plugin file. The above is where it is, so you can delete that. Then start calibre and see if you can install the driver. It should be listed in the plugins that can be installed. If you get an error installing it, post the full details of the error.
