I would like to mention another alternative to M-edge or amazon case. The MaxGuard eReader Jacket for Kindle 2 from
www.trendydigital.com features a lighter and slimmer profile ( net weight: 5.8 ounces). It use an enclosed compartment to secure the kindle 2 and also protect the side navigation button.
The case is available both from trendydigital's web site and amazon.com.
