Don't you find it a little discouraging - from the viewpoint of democracy, I mean - that something this important should be accepted or rejected by 36 people in the name of the - what? 70 odd million people? - in France? Accept it or reject it, it's not really a shining example of "democracy in action", is it? Anyway, I'm happy for you that you have the outcome that you wanted.
