As to newspapers apologizing, they unlike Kobo write their articles, well except the ones from the AP directly. You’d want an apology from the publisher, though I guess kobo could apologize for hosting a book from a publisher who allowed a typo.
I'm not suggesting they apologize for a typo in a blurb, just commenting on how much the world has changed in the last 60 years (or so).
