If you just need something for the times when the device is not in use or to keep the dust off, I echo the neoprene sleeve route. I bought some no-name generic one with a zipper around my device's size off of eBay years ago, and it works great. I don't believe it was even targeted for mobile devices, which probably also made it cheap.
